Summary

The prompt was to create a mobile app to “empower families and groups of friends who travel together a collaborative way to document, organize, and share their travel experiences and stays to the larger Airbnb community. “

Our solution, Airbnb Trips, seamlessly allows people to record their trips, share trips with others, and gather inspiration for future trips. Users can collaboratively create a Trip gallery, which is where they can add photos, notes, articles, their Airbnb stay, and Airbnb experiences they wish or have went to. Users can also save inspiration that they gather from exploring current travel highlights around the world or from browsing other people’s itineraries through tags or searching, and proceed to add these inspiration items to their itineraries. They can then transform these views into immersive travel gallery once they have went on the trip to relive their experience.
